So Memphis, TN is directly across the Mississippi from Arkansas, and the hotel in Texarkana, Texas is about .25 miles across the state line from Arkansas. Which means that the travel portion of day five was spent almost entirely in driving through Arkansas. Now, about Arkansas (at least, what I saw of it). Um, well... Conventional wisdom dictates that if you can't think of anything good to say, it's best not to say anything.
So I got to Texarkana, TX, checked into the hotel and never left it; beautiful hotel, the people here are nice, and I just needed an afternoon to rest. Now I'm just looking forward to seeing Stu in Austin!!
